Chart notes
VAMOS VIEJO chased in the three path, had to wait rounding the turn, was coaxed while swinging out to the six path at the top of the lane, and rallied past an inner trio in the final furlong. FRISSON trailed in the two path, was roused along the inside passing the quarter, tipped out to the three path entering the stretch, ran on to lead between foes passing the sixteenth, but was caught by an outer foe to place. THREE ZERO pressed in the three path, was coaxed along between foes rounding the turn, floated out to the five path at the top of the stretch, and kept on for show. DROPKICK MURPHY set the pace in the two path, was cued turning into the lane, but faded in the final furlong. AUSTONIAN rated in the two path but did not threaten. MIDNIGHT ONYX prompted the pace in the four path but was empty at the top of the stretch.
