Chart notes
BEAN MACHINE stalked along the inside, bid inside of the leaders in upper stretch, sparred with outer rivals through the late stages and narrowly prevailed. PEARL OF ACLAIM (GB) settled well back along the inside, picked up stride in the two path around the far turn, shifted to the five path and outside of the main group in upper stretch, sustained his rally to offer a bid inside the final sixteenth but just missed. EL ALACRAN pressed the leader from the three path, bid along with an outer rival in upper stretch, vied gamely among foes through midstretch, dueled through the late stages and missed between horses. KING MENDELSSOHN settled off of the pace along the inside, launched a rally shift4ing to the four path and outside of the leaders at the five sixteenths pole, bid in upper stretch, battled through midstretch, but flattened out while flopping back to his left lead at the sixteenth pole, and yielded between horses late. INDURINGHOPE tracked two wide, chased while getting floated to the five path by an inner rival turning for home, and gave way. STARSTUDDED AFFAIR showed the way while remaining a path off the inner rail, got headed by bidders on either side in upper stretch and faded. SHIRE'S END trailed two wide early on and was outrun thereafter.
