Chart notes
PREVENT showed the way around the first turn to set the pace while floating out to the four path entering the backstretch, was coaxed in the two path midway around the far turn, dug in from the three path into the stretch, exchanged bumps with an outer challenger in the final sixteenth, but held on. NORTHSHORE DRIVE tracked in the four path, was coaxed along around the far turn, bid while tipping inwards going into the final furlong, exchanged bumps with an inner foe in the final the sixteenth, and lost the bob to finish with place. PRIVATE THOUGHTS chased in the two path, was ridden along the inside into the far turn, tipped out to the five path at the top of the stretch, and kept on for show. BRAWN rated in the three path, floated out to the seven path turning into the lane, but made no impact. REZASROLEX stalked in the four path, was cued from the three path into the far turn, but faded in the stretch. NATURAL STAR trailed throughout. AN OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF NORTHSHORE DRIVE AGAINST THE RIDER OF PREVENT FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE FINAL FURLONG WAS DISALLOWED.
