VIVE VEUVE lightly bumped with ROYAL WINTOUR at the start, raced two wide in midpack early, saved ground around the far turn, angled out in upper stretch, closed outside and was up in deep stretch. ROYAL WINTOUR lightly bumped with the winner at the start, saved ground off the pace, rallied up the rail in the lane and just missed. SANDS OF WAR hopped at the start, raced off the pace two wide, swung six wide in upper stretch, closed strongly outside and ran out of ground. LAST EPISODE bumped with CHARM OF THE SONG at the start, saved ground just off the pace, tipped two wide to bid between foes midway around the far turn, vied outside on BENTO to midstretch, took the lead leaving the eighth pole, lugged in late and was outfinished. BENTO set the pace along the rail, was collared leaving the eighth pole, fought to deep stretch then was forced to check late. OVERLY DRAMATIC pressed the pace two and three wide and weakened in the lane. MER SOLEIL failed to menace while racing three wide. CHARM OF THE SONG bumped at the start, steadied entering the first turn, saved ground and never threatened. PARADE RING (IRE) tracked the pace four wide and tired in the lane. JULYSATURDAYNIGHT played no factor while racing three wide. BREEZING ALONG raced off the pace three and four wide, swerved out near the quarter pole and lacked a rally. LONCHURA prompted the pace three wide, stopped nearing the quarter pole and was eased through the lane.
