Chart notes
SINGING GROOM lacked early foot, advanced into contention while four wide through the second turn, challenged in upper stretch, long drive to the wire, gained the nod. SATURDAY STARTER lacked speed along the inside, shifted out in some traffic into the final turn, came off the rail, swung six wide for the drive, late bid outside, missed. MR WORKS broke on top, showed the way along the inside, headed, duel, regained, stubbornly. STRICKLAND broke back, came in early to bother LUCKY IS MY NAME, lacked speed, three to five wide advance second turn, continued to improve position through the stretch without posing a serious threat. MORE MONEY MO settled off the pace and the inside, came in the second flight within striking distance out of the final turn, drifted in repeatedly, rider appeared to lose whip in midstretch, lacked a closing punch. MO MOVES settled off the pace while along the inside, continued to save ground into the final turn, encountered some traffic late in that bend, went evenly in the drive when clear. HONEST OPINION forwardly placed while four wide into the first turn, continued off the inside, three wide through the final turn then began to weaken and give way. LUCKY IS MY NAME off slowly then was bothered soon after, void of speed, three to four wide second turn, lacked a real bid in the drive. HEXCEL raced in mid pack while off the inside, lacked a closing response. XKUZ broke a step slow and was always outrun. MOTOWN COLLECTION alternated up front for five furlongs off the inside, stopped far turn.
