Chart notes

SENIOR INVESTMENT set the pace on the inside, vied inside on the backside, shook free again, responded when roused, led into the stretch and drew clear under urging. SOPHOS raced off the pace inside, chased on the far turn, came three wide into the lane, rallied late outside and got up for second at the wire. HEFFNER tracked on the inside, raced close up on the backside, bid between rivals entering the turn, rallied inside in the stretch drive and just missed for the place spot. ANGELUS WARRIOR stalked two wide, vied between on the backside, bid three wide on the far turn and weakened late. HEY PORTER bobbled at the break, raced two wide off the pace, chased on the far turn and failed to threaten. JACK BEANSTALK was off a bit slow, raced four wide early, pressed the pace racing three wide on the backside, chased on the far turn and gave way.
