Chart notes
UNCLE JUJU vied for the early lead while racing just off the inside, dug in near the eighth pole and prevailed under strong handling. LT. NORM pressed the pace racing between rivals early, angled in race near the around the far turn into the upper stretch, shifted out three wide to race from the outside of Uncle Juju and kept on gamely to the wire. KIKIS LOVE OF LIFE stalked the pace, raced four wide around the far turn, took aim at the top into the upper lane but had no final winning bid. GRUMPY BAY was off slowly, raced near the inside throughout and never threatened. HUSTO was off slowly, rushed up from the outside of rivals to press early on, raced in tight quarters just past the quarter pole and faded.
