Chart notes
MAJOR LLOYD stalked the leader from the start two wide, dug in late four wide under a strong hand ride while between horses and got up in the final strides. EMPEROR'S GOLD sped to the lead soon after the start, set the pace into the far turn, gave up a narrow lead, matched strides the balance of the trip three wide and just missed in a gamed effort inside the winner. DUEL FUEL never far back, three wide into the far turn, gained a narrow lead near the quarter pole, dueled the balance of the trip but was outfinished. AMERICAN NIGHTMARE checked entering the clubhouse turn, moved closer three wide on the far turn then leveled off. ONLYATTHESHOE went evenly. JACK'S ADVANTAGE vied for lead the lead along the inside into the stretch then weakened. PER RULING #ECM2024-10 FROM HIWU, EMPEROR'S GOLD WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM SECOND TO UNPLACED DUE TO A POSITIVE TEST.
