Chart notes
COPPERMASTER settled off the early pace outside, angled to the rail entering the turn, gained inside around the bend, came through inside of the pacesetter in midstretch, took over near the sixteenth pole and drove clear. NOBLE DRAMA raced well back in the two path, angled five wide near the quarter pole, closed outside and was up for the place in the final strides. SIR OLLIE bobbled at the break then bumped EASTSIDE COOL just after, set the pace in the two path to the sixteenth pole and yielded. EASTSIDE COOL was bumped just after the start, pressed the pace in the three path and weakened in the lane. AMERICAN PURE chased the pace four wide and faded in the lane. GILDED AGE played no factor while racing four wide.
