Chart notes
RUFFNER took over while tapering to the inside and rated the pace, cleared Mo Eh Hennessy at the quarter pole, raced at the rail on the turn and was steadily handled in the lane. DOCTOR JERRY gave chase, raced near the rail on the turn and dueled through the stretch for second. GOLDEN ADAGE angled to the outside and gave chase, rounded the turn about the five path, dug in to take third later yards and was gaining on the runner-up. PERSONAL FINANCE was reluctant to load then gave chase, raced in the four path on the turn and flattened stride mid-stretch. AIR KENNEY chased through the backstretch, raced off the rail on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. WATCH THE TRAMCAR gave chase, raced in the three path on the turn, was eased out leaving the turn but showed little more. MO EH HENNESSY engaged in close chase through the backstretch but dropped back at the quarter pole, raced near the rail on the turn and weakened.
