Chart notes
ORDER AND LAW stalked off the rail for a bit, moved inside at the top of the stretch for the first time before settling in the two path, got up into range in the middle stages, continued two wide on the far turn, moved out and unleashed a rally in the stretch and edged away late. MALTESE FALCON (IRE) settled off the inside then two wide towards the rear, roused leaving the far turn, angled to the inside but lacked room in traffic at the sixteenth pole, found room along the fence and finished gamely for second. ALIGATO chased three deep across the dirt then shifted to the two path, went two to three wide around the far turn, steered out in the lane and closed to get up for third. CALM SEA dueled early then cleared along the inside crossing the wire first time in the stretch, set all the pace to the stretch, remained clear to midstretch but yielded in the final sixteenth. HEYWOODS BEACH stalked off the rail then moved inside, went outside a rival leaving the backstretch, was closest in pursuit a bit off the rail into the lane, moved out further and bid in the furlong grounds but was outkicked in deep stretch. SINGLE TRACK MIND (IRE) unhurried in the early going, raced at the back outside a rival, continued well back two then three wide on the far turn, steered out in the lane and failed to threaten. RESULTANT broke a step slow and dropped back, had to steady behind a rival early, saved ground through both turns, angled out into the stretch and could not rally. SBAGLIATO chased from inside and was trying to get out crossing the dirt while being held in by the rider, dropped back off the pace, saved ground to the stretch, tipped out at the top of the lane and came up empty. MALIBU COAST dueled while racing widest across the dirt then started to pull when ceding command to inner rival, chased in the two path then along the inside into the far turn, started to weaken around that bend and retreated through the lane.
