Chart notes
RAYMOND unruly prestart, broke alertly, narrowly showed the way up the backstretch in the two path, came three wide for the drive, shook clear when straightened for home. DRIFTER broke back, lacked early foot, closer in the two path, roused for the drive, slowly getting to the winner late, clearly second best. RIFEY broke back, lacked early foot just off the inside, swung out five wide turning for home, finished with some late energy to be in time for the show, not a threat to the top two. CIBOLO forwardly placed while well out in the strip, five wide into the turn, contested the issue on the outside through the bend, four wide into the stretch weakened in the run to the wire. STAND FOR FREEDOM vied up front between horses, four wide into the turn between horses, also faltered. CLASSIC KING broke in air, lacked speed, four wide when moving a bit closer late in the turn, lacked a further bid. RARE STRIPE in mid pack along the inside, saved ground to no avail. OTIS OTIS OTIS vied up front while between foes, stopped through the stretch, trailed home.
