Chart notes
NO MORE DEBT bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, moved up while racing in the four path around the turn, drifted in in upper stretch and kicked clear from there. ERLAN raced in the middle of the pack on the inside through the early going, saved ground around the bend, began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground late. JOYFUL GHOST chased the leaders on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, dueled in upper stretch, raced into traffic and was forced to check in late stretch when NO MORE DEBT drifted into his lane and chased on from there. MEAN TWEETS trailed the field early, saved ground around the bend, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground late. FREELANCE tracked the leader on the inside through the opening quarter of a mile, continued around the turn in the two path and finished evenly. PRINCELY GOD led the way up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the two path, raced into traffic in midstretch and weakened in the final furlong. SMASH FACTOR raced off the pace on the inside early, came around the turn in the three path and improved position mildly in the lane. HARRY'S ONTHEBEACH stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, swung out to the five path coming around the turn and faded in the stretch. THE GOLDEN ONE raced at the back of the pack through the opening stages, came around the turn in the six path and showed no kick. CAJUN HOPE tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, raced in the three path around the bend and tired in the lane. RUNAWAY TOM raced off the pace between horses up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the five path and made no bid. SHAMMAH bumped with the horse to his inside at the start, raced in the middle of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the four path and was empty in the lane. THE RIDERS AND TRAINERS OF BOTH HORSE ONE, JOYFUL GHOST, AND HORSE TWELVE, PRINCELY GOD, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE SIX, NO MORE DEBT, CITING INTERFERENCE AT THE EIGHTH POLE. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS ALSO MADE INTO THAT INCIDENT. UPON REVIEW, HORSE SIX, NO MORE DOUBT, WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED THIRD FOR INTERFERENCE WITH HORSE ONE, JOYFUL GHOST.
