Chart notes
FLOTATION STATION pressed the pace from the two path, then dug in leaving the turn, shook clear of advancing rivals and held on well to prove best in the end. FEEL IT chased the leader while three wide, then bid gamely leaving the turn, battled down the stretch with an outer rival and was up for the place position. TOOLPUSHER chased the pace while two wide then rallied in the upper stretch, dueled for the place position down the lane but missed in the end. CORREDOR chased the pace from the inside under a steady drive and needed more in the final furlongs. ROMAN GENERAL settled along the rail then bid leaving the turn and came up evenly in the stretch. BIG AND BOLD settled in the two path then bid leaving the turn but came up flat in the stretch. TOOTHMAN led the pack momentarily then vied to keep the lead throughout the turn under a hard drive, was used up in the stretch and tired in the end. THE OX trailed behind the group throughout and was no factor.
