Chart notes
NAY V BELLE tracked widest up the backstretch, went four deep into the turn, gained through the bend while easing in a few paths, challenged the leader from the two path entering the lane, inched ahead in upper stretch and drew clear in the late stages. BONAQUA brushed leaving the gate, raced in range trailing the field, chased two wide into the turn, angled to the rail and passed rivals before steering back out into the lane, chased within striking distance through the final furlong and oufinished SHOW CARD for second. SHOW CARD cleared from outside and crossed over, showed the way along the rail through the turn, pressured by NAY V BELLE into the lane, gave up the lead shortly after, fought on to midstretch and weakened a bit late to lose second. CORPOSO stalked inside rivals along the rail, tipped out at the top of the stretch, drifted back inside at the eighth pole and weakened late. VEGAS CONDO brushed outer rival at the start, stalked off the rail then three deep, remained off the rail to the stretch and faded. SWEET GEM raced greenly when rival crossed over briefly early, went up to chase between rivals, got crowded at the quarter pole and tired in the lane.
