Chart notes
ELWOOD BLUES pressed between to the half-mile pole, ceded command and dropped down to chase along the rail into the turn, bid inside the top pair at the five-sixteenths pole, inched ahead with a quarter mile remaining, cleared in upper stretch and was kept to task to the wire. ESCAPE ROUTE chased two wide leaving the backstretch, moved out early on the turn and traveled three to four wide around the bend, challenged four deep in upper stretch and got outkicked by the winner. SIR ATTICUS tracked wide up the backstretch, rounded the bend four to five wide, drifted out a bit in the lane and showed a mild response to gain the show. PRINCIPE CARLO pressed the pace three deep then outside the leader past the half-mile pole, vied three deep past the five-sixteenths pole, fought to upper stretch and weakened. KINGDOM HEART set the pace under pressure from outer rivals early, vied between midway around the bend, could not kick in upper stretch and gave way in the furlong grounds.
