Chart notes
FUEGO CALIENTE stalked the pace down the backside, rallied three wide on the far turn to take command nearing the quarter pole and drew away in the lane convincingly. FRANCO reserved off the pace for the first half mile, steadily gained ground rallying on the turn while forced to circle five wide and finished well to be second best. GAMBLER pressed the pace down the backside from three wide, took the lead on the final turn, drifted out turning for home and was out-finished through the stretch. LAUTREC trailed for the first five-eighths and passed tiring rivals in the lane. LAUDA SPEED well placed along the rail tracking the leader to the far turn and faded. HE'S A SHOOTER sped tio the lead from three wide in the first turn, set the pace down the backside and gave way at the three-eighths pole.
