Chart notes
BUFFETT stalked the leaders in the early going, moved up around the final turn, drove clear down the home stretch and proved the best. REGINALD AURELIUS went to the front, drove clear, couldn't hold off the winner late, but was a clear second. SAUCY ARGUMENT broke in, racing in the back, gained ground, racing outside around the second turn and closed well. CLEVER PRINCE raced in the middle of the field, saved ground around the final turn, made a mild bid and was outfinished for third. OUT MAKING TREBLE raced in the middle of the pack and put forth an even effort. DOCE DE LA NOCHE bumped hard at the start, racing in the rear, improved position, but was no factor. BUD WON raced within striking distance and faded. D W STRONG pressed the early pace and dropped back. CALL ME FIREY void of early speed and showed little.
