Chart notes
HAIL STATE pressed two deep from the outside of Far From Final and finished well to prove best under strong handling. FAR FROM FINAL showed good early foot to clear early, collared through the far turn, came on again in willingly while tipping out two deep. RICKEY B dropped back early, raced from the inside around the far turn and showed good late interest. TOUGH COMPANY chased three deep and had not enough in the drive. BROADWAY PETE was shuffled back at the break, trailed after the poor start, swung five wide into the lane and closed in mildly. ROYAL CONSORT raced two to three wide around the far turn and lacked a bid. DAAHERS BULLY hard chase from the outside, raced five to six wide into the upper stretch and never was a factor. TIM'S BUDDY failed to respond.
