Chart notes
HONEY BELLA stalked the pace to the far turn, rallied two wide to take command turning for home, opened a clear advantage while drifting out significantly down the lane and held the closer safe to the wire. WINDY LU WHO reared at the start giving the field several lengths, made steady progress down the backside to re-engage the field, rallied steadily gaining ground down the lane and could not catch the winner. SHEISTHEHERO set the pace for five-eighths, failed to respond when challenged at the quarter pole and weakened in the lane. CANDY ISLAND tracked the leaders to the far turn, gave way turning for home and broke down mid-stretch, was euthanized and vanned off. THE RIDER OF THE RUNNER-UP CLAIMED FOUL FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH RUN AGAINST THE WINNER, UPON REVIEW NO CHANGE WAS MADE.
