Chart notes
EL SMOOCH led the way into the first turn to set the pace down the early backstretch, was briefly met with contention then continued to remain clear throughout the far turn, was challenged for the lead by an outer rival but retain a strong drive to prevail in the end. NERKY ROSE saved ground in the early furlongs, then moved up from the four path on the far turn to rally in the upper stretch but lacked the winning bid and was best for second place. R R EMPIRE settled along the inside in the early furlongs, then moved up the backstretch while three wide, rallied leaving the far turn but came up evenly in the late stretch. IRON MOON pressed the pace while two wide, then vied briefly in the early backstretch before settling back on the far turn, rallied in the early stretch before giving way in the end. UNCLE CHAN raced in the middle of the pack from the inside, then bid mildly on the far turn and did not spark in the home stretch. PRINCE CURLIN was unhurried early then bid leaving the far turn and was no threat. GIVE HIM TIME raced in the middle of the field under a steady drive while two wide down the backstretch, then faded on the far turn and was no menace. BAFFIN'S BEST SHOT pressed the pace while three wide in the early backstretch, then vied briefly with inner rivals, began to lose ground, then bore out six to seven wide on the far turn and was no rally in the end.
