Chart notes
FIRSTHAND JUSTICE away alertly, set the pace along the inside into the turn, was headed near the quarter pole, regained command at the top of the stretch, shook clear before the furlong marker under right handed urging and lasted under strong handling. MONSTER HUNTER trailed down the backstretch, swung outside for the drive, closed rapidly and just missed. STONE COLD CAT saved ground and passed tiring rivals through the stretch. THE MAN CAN stalked the pace to the furlong marker then faded. THANKSDAD offered a mild bid three wide on the turn then came up empty. FOREIGN prompted the pace two wide into the turn, gained a narrow lead briefly nearing the quarter pole then faltered.
