Chart notes
UTAH BEACH saved ground in range, angled three wide near the quarter pole, moved to the front nearing the sixteenth pole and just lasted. MEYER saved ground off the pace, angled three wide near the eighth pole, surged between foes and just missed. CHAMPAGNE JUAN raced along the rail in midpack, swung out in midstretch and rallied outside. HARRY HOOD prompted the pace two wide, took the lead around the far turn, led to the sixteenth pole and was outfinished late. SWORE set the pace along the rail and weakened in the lane. VALUE ENGINEERING trailed two wide, swung eight wide in upper stretch and rallied belatedly. ROCK THE STARS raced well back two wide, swung widest in upper stretch and never threatened. HENLEY'S JOY failed to menace while racing two and three wide. GAME CHANGE tracked the pace two and three wide and faded through the stretch. JUNIPERO SERRA was outrun inside.
