REY O REYES rated a clear lead inside, came under pressure leaving the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and held well with steady handling. MOON OVER MONTANA saved ground off the pace, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn and ran evenly in the lane. HAPPY CHAMP was carried outward on the opening turn then settled off the pace, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and weakened. RRACE DAY WARRIOR was carried out on the first turn then settled off the pace, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and weakened. HAPPY CHARLIE sustained an injury and bore out on the opening turn, lost his rider as a result and returned lame, but walked off post race.
