Chart notes
CHAMPLIN showed the way along the inside, cleared in upper stretch inched away from chasers under little urging. MESA SPIRIT stalked along the inside, edged place from outer rivals entering midstretch and was second best. ZIPPIN GIGI tracked three wide, bid for place whlie chasing the clearing leader in upper stretch, but was outkicked for that position nearing the furlong grounds. CASH FEVER stalked two wide, but failed to sustain pressure entering the lane and gradually yielded between horses. CAMP DADDY pursued four wide but lacked the needed punch to offer a bid. CALIBRACHOA KID chased from midpack two wide and between horses, then failed to menace. MACHO FORTY FIVE saved ground off of the pace, shifted out leaving upper stretch and failed to factor. VOYANT broke a step slow and was taken back at the start, trailed in the three to six path and got outrun.
