Chart notes
NICKEL NICKEL took the lead while tapering to the inside and rated the pace, was urged away approaching the quarter pole then kept alert to further extend his lead. GOLDEN ADAGE raced off the rail the first turn, gave chase approaching the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path and settled for second best. RAINBOW DAY came through the first turn in the three path, picked up the chase toward the seven sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and flattened inside the eighth pole. URGENT FURY rounded the first turn about the four path, gave chase leaving the half mile pole, raced in the four path on the far turn and showed little in the lane. WATCH THE TRAMCAR rounded the opening turn about the five path, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole but showed little response. HERE COMES ELI stalked inside on the first turn, gave chase past the seven sixteenths pole but weakened off the rail on the far turn. STRATEGIC raced in the four path the first turn, left the turn outside and weakened wide on the far turn.
