GABBY HAYES prominent away from the start, ceded the early lead to WAR GAMES and stalked that rival through fast fractions heading into the turn, raced two wide into the bend and kept attendance to the fast pace approaching the quarter pole, was roused into the stretch and battled for the lead with WAR GAMES heading to the furlong marker, took command past mid-stretch, was kept to task under steady urging into the final sixteenth and held in a drive at the finish to prevail. ARMA D'ORO crowded by neighboring rivals at the start and was away slowly, was allowed to settle in the early stages and saved ground into the turn, shifted four wide at the quarter marker and was roused into the stretch, improved position at the furlong marker and rallied into the final sixteenth, could not reel in his stablemate at the finish and held well in the end for second. OUR BOLD PRINCE a bit slow away from the start, was hard to place in the early running, tracked the fast early pace from between runners heading into the turn, raced two wide and between rivals into the bend and came in tight nearing the quarter pole, was boxed in into upper stretch and ran evenly to the furlong marker, closed well into the final sixteenth and was up in the final strides to earn show honors. ALEXANDER'S DREAM was away in good order and vied for the early lead, ceded the advantage to WAR GAMES and tracked that rival through solid fractions heading into the turn, stalked three wide to the quarter marker, was well placed into upper stretch and chased the leaders to the furlong pole, did not offer a final response into deep stretch and just missed for third. WAR GAMES showed good speed away from the start, assumed command and set solid fractions heading into the turn, dictated terms while well handled approaching the quarter marker, led into the stretch and met the bid of GABBY HAYES to the furlong marker, lost ground into the final sixteenth and yielded in deep stretch. DOO WOP DON crowded a neighboring rival at the start and was away a bit slowly, was allowed to settle in the early going, came under a ride while two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, gained ground approaching mid-stretch, encountered traffic into the final sixteenth and found his best stride late. HORSE DOCTOR squeezed at the start and was away a bit slowly, tracked the solid early pace from the second flight, chased three wide to the quarter marker, swung five wide for the drive and ran evenly to mid-stretch, needed more into the final sixteenth and finished evenly. AFFECTIONTO AUTISM forwardly placed away from the start, tracked the fast pace from the inside and was well positioned heading into the turn, advanced while saving ground approaching the quarter pole, was outkicked into the stretch, could not muster a response into the final sixteenth and gave way.
