Chart notes
MACUTO raced off the pace two wide, advanced four wide around the far turn, closed while lugging in through the stretch, took over leaving the eighth pole and drew clear. BUILDER JAK saved ground in range, angled three wide near the quarter pole, swung further out nearing the eighth pole and rallied for the place. KUWAIT TOWERS stalked the pace three and four wide, took the lead nearing the eighth pole but was outkicked in the final furlong. MODERN LANE pressed the pace two wide, re-bid inside of foes in upper stretch and flattened out. PEYTON'S DAY hit the starting gate, raced well back two and three wide and passed tiring rivals in the lane. FLASHOVER vied three wide around the first turn and two wide around the far turn, battle to midstretch and tired. FEDERAL HIGHWAY saved ground off the early pace, angled five wide entering the far turn and never threatened. JOHNNY FROM BOSTON chased the pace four wide and and faded after a half. SLEIPNIR pressed the pace four wide around the first turn and three wide around the far turn, led near the five-sixteenths marker, steadied in upper stretch and retreated.
