Chart notes
LION OF THE SEA came in and made light contact with Grand Escape leaving the gate then rated the pace inside, came under pressure toward the quarter pole, raced near the rail on the turn and was kept alert through the lane. GRAND FIBER gave chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn near the rail and settled for second. PRIZE FIGHTER chased, raced at the rail on the turn then dueled through the stretch for third. COWBOY AT HEART gave chase, rounded the turn about the three path but was eased to the outside of Storm Boarder leaving the turn then outfinished in the stretch duel for third. GRAND ESCAPE became a bit rambunctious in the paddock, was brushed leaving the gate then gave chase while angling to the outside, rounded the turn about the six path and finished evenly widest. STORM BOARDER (CHI) chased outside, raced in the four path on the turn, drifted toward the head of the lane and flattened stride.
