Chart notes
KAYLEE'S SPITFIRE rounded the opening turn about the five path and left the turn outside, started his bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole and closed to the lead three wide midway on the far turn, raced clear approaching the top of the stretch and was steadily handled to widen. MAGICAL SURPRISE exchanged light contact with BORN TO SIN leaving the gate then rounded the first turn off the rail, picked up the chase toward the seven sixteenths pole, steadily gained and raced in the three path on the far turn, dug in leaving the turn and took second the final strides. The latter came away awkwardly and exchanged contact with the former then jostled into Calypso John, stalked off the rail, challenged into the backstretch and took a brief lead toward the three eighths pole, was met passing the five sixteenths, rounded the far turn near the rail and dueled to retain third. WYSOQUIET raced in the four path on the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole and dueled to a brief slim lead between horses at the quarter pole, but was caught midway on the far turn and flattened stride mid-stretch. CALYPSO JOHN was brushed early then saved ground on the opening turn, picked up the chase toward the seven sixteenths pole, raced two deep on the far turn and weakened. HILLBILLY ROCK raced off the rail on the first turn, gave chase from the three eighths pole but weakened in the four path on the far turn. MONKEY WRENCH rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure into the backstretch, was met toward the three eighths pole, dropped back at the five sixteenths and weakened at the rail.
