Chart notes
CAJUN BERTI quick to begin to set the pace and held gamely to be clear under strong pressure. DAVE chased the early leader two deep and finished second best. RETALIATED was hustled along from the inside and kept on to the wire. ACE GILFORD broke awkwardly, saved ground and closed in mildly. EXPECT ROYAL dropped back to race mid pack, was three to four wide around the far turn and had no response. CHILLY WILLIS dropped back early, raced along the inside into the upper stretch and never menaced.
