BRAHMS BOY dueled with an inner rival heading into the turn, then kicked clear of that rival to gain command in the early stretch, was challenged by another rival from the inside but kept on under a strong rally and was up at the wire. DUDE PERFECTA stalked the pace while two wide, then bid gamely leaving the turn to battle with an outer rival in the late stretch and just missed victory in the end. CHUY GARZA Y. G. raced while four wide and behind rivals, then menaced leaving the turn and closed willingly down the lane and was up for the show prize. MINISTER MAZ dueled from the inside into the turn, was outkicked by rival, then rebid grudgingly leaving the turn before giving way in the end. NINTH OF APRIL chased the pace from the inside, rallied in the early stretch and was closing well in the end. DOSE'S DREAM settled along the inside then rallied leaving the turn and was gaining ground but it was not enough in the end. RIDING THE TRAIN raced while three wide behind rivals, then bid from the inside on the turn and came up flat in the stretch. SWAMPDRAINER was unhurried early then bid from the inside leaving the bend and came up empty. PUTMAN chased the pace from the three path under a strong drive into the turn then gave way in late. TACTICIAN settled while four wide at the back of the pack and was no threat.
