Chart notes
PETESOLDFASHIONED pressured inside pair of rivals from the outside, remained on three path into the bend, poked his nose in front a quarter mile out, bumped by rival past the eighth pole, came in some through the drive and battled back to gamely prevail. BOWTIE BOYS stalked from off the rail, bid between rivals leaving the turn, fought between foes, bumped by outside foe past eighth marker then bumped with inside rival, fought back gamely in late stages and just missed from outside winner. PUDDIN HEAD JONES was off bit slow, trailed from bit off the rail, swung out five wide entering the stretch, gained slight advantage, drifted inward and bumped with inside rival, was straightened away and then outfinished. TAKAMAKAHARA was off alertly, dueled from between rivals, held short lead from the two path into the lane, dropped back in upper stretch and weakened. GOOD AT BEING BAD forced then contested the pace from along the rail, continued inside and prominently around the bend, dropped back quickly in upper stretch and then gave way readily while not persevered with late.
