Chart notes
SILVER STYLE stalked the leader between horses up the backstretch, began a bid from the three path coming around the turn and dueled to the wire to get up for the win. ALABAMA SLAMMER hit the gate leaving it, recovered to press the pace on the outside through the early going, navigated the turn from the two path and dueled to the wire to narrowly miss. VARATTI led the way on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend, dug in in upper stretch and gave way late. WORLDS ON HIGH raced off the pace on the inside through the opening quarter, came around the turn in the three path and made up some ground in the lane. BIG BUCKSALOT was pinched back leaving the gate, tracked the pace setters on the outside up the backstretch, began a bid from the four path coming around the far turn and flattened out in the stretch. SKIPPERINI bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, chased the leader from the rail up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and tired from there. MIDNIGHT ROYAL bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, raced off the pace on the rail early, saved ground around the bend and was empty in the lane.
