Chart notes
VERRAZANO FIRST pressed the early leader from the outside two deep and finished well to edge clear under strong handling. PREACHER stalked the pace three wide and kept on to the wire to finish second best. HOLD TIGHT was allowed to settle early, made a good rail bid in the drive and closed in well. BRICKTOWN BROWN stalked the pace, loomed three to four wide around the far turn between rivals and flattened out. NASTY EXAGGERATOR raced mid pack early, was five wide into the upper stretch and had no late rally. RAFAEL'S SURPRISE settled off the early, going, raced four to five wide and never was a factor. FAKE SOLUTION was slow early and never threatened. DELIRIUM stalked the pace, raced three to four wide and had no response. SHIP BOSS showed good early speed along the inside and gave way. GINGER RULES failed to respond.
