Chart notes
TRITONE GAL took a quick lead and rated the pace inside, came under pressure nearing the five sixteenths pole, widened at the rail on the far turn and was steadily handled in the stretch. GILDED QUEST saved ground on the first turn, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole and steadily improved from that point, raced in the three path on the far turn then dueled through the stretch for second. JOYA DEL SUR stalked three wide on the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and was outfinished in the stretch duel for second. TOUGH ENOUGH stalked two deep the first turn, chased approaching the three eighths pole but faded into the far turn. SAVE THE FLAG raced off the rail the opening turn then eased out past the half mile pole and picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths, came through the far turn about the four path, left the turn outside and showed little further. SNEAKY LYNK rated off the early pace inside, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole but showed little response. LIVE AID settled in the three path the first turn and showed little response through the backstretch.
