Chart notes
MAGNIFICENT RIDE was bumped from both sides at the start, stalked two wide, tripped out three wide, reached front at eighth marker and powered away. L'ENFANT DIT broke in and bumped the winner, stalked three deep early, followed same path into the stretch, dueled outside rival in the lane and gamely gained second. MISTER BEAMS dueled outside rival, remained on two path, had slim lead into the lane, was overtaken at eighth pole and lost the battled for second. JOHN DUNBAR chased from the outside, remained six wide to the turn then five wide into the stretch and found his best stride late from the outside. FIREMAN DAN chased five wide and between foes, got crowded at the quarter pole, came in slightly leaving the bend and lacked needed late response. GOLF DRAMA prompted the early pace, chased three wide then three deep, remained well off the rail and was between rivals through the drive. QUAGMIRE MAGIC broke out and bumped rival, chased inside throughout and never threatened. THRUST dueled from the inside, continued along the rail into the stretch and weakened in the late stages. DUTCH BUS chased four wide and between rivals early, was bit crowded nearing quarter marker, dropped back some and failed to menace.
