Chart notes
PATRON D'ORO broke a step slow, went up to apply pressure from outside, fought headed to head around the turn and inched ahead past the quarter pole, disposed of inner rival in upper stretch and drew off under urging. HEARTFULLOFSTARS settled near the back outside a rival, rounded the bend three deep, moved out in upper stretch and showed a mild rally to best the rest. EL DIABLO ROJO broke a step slow, trailed up the backstretch, chased between in the two path through the turn and got outkicked for second. WEGONAHAVAGOODTIME showed good early speed and set the pace inside PATRON D'ORO to turn, dueled around the bend and lost command at the quarter pole, yielded to the winner in upper stretch and weakened in the furlong grounds. SLEW'S JOY raced up close between rivals on the front end but got crowded and suffered a mild shuffle at the nine-sixteenths pole, chased the top pair three wide through the turn and weakened in the drive. STAY IN THE GAME tracked the speed along the rail into the turn, raced inside a pair of rivals then trailed into the stretch and had little left for the final furlong.
