MORE VINO raced in the three path around the first turn, chased the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the two path and dueled in tight quarters to the wire to edge clear late. SALACIOUS raced in the two path around the first turn, led the way on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the far bend and dueled in tight quarters in the stretch, giving way late. PROTECTIVE saved ground early, raced off the pace on the inside for the run up the backstretch, drifted out while beginning a bid from the three path coming around the turn, cutting of CAUSEWAY in the process and improved position on the outside late. CAUSEWAY raced in the two path around the first bend, settled off the pace on the outside for the run up the backstretch, continued around the far turn still in the two path, raced into traffic and was forced to check midway around the bend and chased on in the lane. DRINK N WINK raced in the two pat around the first turn, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack, saved ground around the far turn and was empty in the stretch. THE RIDER OF HORSE FOUR, CAUSEWAY, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE TWO, PROTECTIVE, CLAIMING INTERFERENCE ON THE FAR TURN. UPON REVIEW, HORSE TWO, PROTECTIVE, WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED FOURTH.
