Chart notes
WHY NOT BABE prompted the pace three wide, bid to the front near the top of the stretch and was just up in a long drive. SHE'S A LINO reserved along the rail, held a narrow lead at the quarter pole, dueled to the finish and held on gamely. FINE WHINING raced wide just off the leaders, bid into the stretch then went evenly late. LIL' LATE LUCK chased in the two path then flattened out in the stretch. BROOKLYN HEIGHTS raced wide within striking range then weakened. AUGIE'S GIRL raced inside, was taken up near the quarter pole and faded. BRUNO BARBER GIRL dropped far behind and was never involved. SECRET TEMPTATION lacked speed, raced very wide on the turn and retreated. FIVE STAR FRAN hustled to the front, lost the advantage on the turn then gave way. ONLY GIRL broke slowest and trailed throughout.
