Chart notes
JEWELS IN THE BAY led narrowly in the two path then inside and held rival safe in a long stretch drive. JEEPER advanced three wide on the final turn, loomed a threat but could not get by the winner. MAJESTIC LION outrun early, advanced near the inside and was up for show. ZOPPI FISCHBEIN offered a brief bid on the final turn then gave way. BOOSTER SHOT rated just off the leaders then gave way after half a mile. DOUBLE O OTTO broke out at the start then was always outrun. PLENTY OF TIME forced the pace inside for half a mile and stopped abruptly.
