Chart notes
NOW SHOWING settled off the early pace inside, made good progress at the rail around the turn, split rivals in upper stretch, drew off under a drive, switched back to the left lead near the sixteenth pole and continued to widen under hand urging. SPLURGE raced in range three wide, bid outside of foes in upper stretch and was clearly second best in the final furlong. PRINCESS BLAKELY broke and bumped GROVE ST. at the start, set the pace along the rail, continued on the left lead in the lane and weakened. GROVE ST. was bumped at the start, raced four wide and was no threat. TOP LOOK was bumped at the start, saved ground and never menaced. MYSTIC SUNRISE broke inwardly and bumped TOP LOOK, raced well back two wide and never reached contention. KAITIE KAIT pressed the pace two wide and faltered in the lane.
