Chart notes
PEACEFULPERSUASION tracked the leader through the turn, rallied four wide turning for home, engaged the pacesetter in mid-stretch and pulled clear to the wire. RANSAM PAYNTER sped off to a clear advantage quickly from the gate, widened the lead to the turn and weakened though the stretch while holding the place. TWELVE MINUS ONE unhurried early on to be at the rear of the pack, made a steady advance down the lane to be along for the show. MR. BLUTARSKY chased the leader through the turn and failed to mount a closing rally. PACIFIDERO well placed along the rail saving ground, rallied on the turn under a drvie and failed to sustain the bid coming home. ELEGGUA was not a threat. LEAVENWORTH failed to menace.
