Chart notes
ONE STEP ASIDE reserved off the pace to the turn, rallied gaining ground on the bend, swung six wide at the head of the lane and closed with a late rush to be up in time. RUN RED RUN sped up the fence to take the lead down the backside, settled to a well rated pace, repelled challenger in turn, kept on willingly through the lane and was caught in deep stretch. MOMENT IN THE DARK prompted the pace into the turn, was called upon in a drive on the bend, could not gain on the pacesetter and flattened out finishing evenly. SOL OF VAQUERO unhurried early to trail and rallied up the rail closing ground in the stretch. CANTRUNWITHBIGDOGS failed to menace. ORLEANS STORM was not a threat.
