Chart notes
GUILLAUME raced in the three path around the first turn, settled off the pace on the outside for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the three path coming around the far turn, drifted out mildly late and edged clear. EXACTING saved ground early, led the way on the inside up the backstretch, dueled from the rail around the far bend and in upper stretch and was caught late after drifting out in the final furlong. KING RAMOS raced in the two path around the first turn, tracked the pace setters up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the three path and gained ground late. JUST PLAIN ORNERY pressed the pace on the outside through the opening half mile, continued around the second turn still in the two path and weakened in the lane. TWO BY TWO saved ground early, settled off the pace on the inside for the run up the backstretch, navigated the far bend from the two path and made no bid.
