Chart notes
AWESOME CITY bumped with the horse to his outside leaving the gate, raced in the middle of the pack up the backstretch, came around the turn in the four path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and kicked clear. MOR SPRING SPIRIT tracked the leader on the outside through the opening quarter, continued around the bend in the three path, drifted in slightly in upper stretch and chased on from there. BOURBON EXPRESS bumped with the horse to his inside at the start, recovered to lead the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, altered course slightly in midstretch after racing into traffic and weakened in the final furlong. MILCHIN chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and was outkicked in the lane. LINE ASTRAY raced off the pace on the outside early, navigated the bend from the four path and made no bid. FIRE BARON raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, came around the bend in the three path and was empty from there. ELECTRIC RUNNER hopped up and was pinched back leaving the gate, trailed the field throughout, saved ground around the turn and was never a factor. THE RIDER OF HORSE FOUR, BOURBON EXPRESS, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE FIVE, MOR SPRING SPIRIT, CITING INTERFERENCE NEAR THE EIGHTH POLE. UPON REVIEW, NO CHANGES WERE MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
