Chart notes
MISS LAUREN stalked the early pace two deep while between horses, closed to the front leaving the three eighths pole, was urged clear midway on the far turn, widened under steady handling to late stretch then taken in hand nearing the wire. SPARKLEINYOUREYE took the lead two deep nearing the seven eighths pole and rated the pace, was met toward the three eighths pole, gave chase from that point but dropped back midway on the far turn and settled for second best. ROMAN CANDLE settled off the pace in the two and three paths, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail and showed little more. CASTLE OF CAYLEE was bumped leaving the gate and raced well back saving ground, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn and showed little in the lane. JUST HAVE FAITH stalked the early pace inside but faded on the second turn. SMOKIN LADY bobbled outward and made contact with Castle of Caylee then rated close three wide, dropped back on the second turn, faded through the backstretch and was eased past the quarter pole.
