LET'S CONNECT raced in the two path around the first turn, dueled on the outside up the backstretch, continued to battle from the two path around the far turn, came in in upper stretch, bumping with THREE RUN BOLT in the process, and dug in to the finish to just hold the win. HIPATIA saved ground around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far bend, launched a bid in upper stretch and gained ground late to just miss. THREE RUN BOLT saved ground early, dueled on the inside up the backstretch and around the far turn, bumped with LET'S CONNECT in upper stretch and took up slightly, and battled back to the finish from there to just miss. VAI GATTINA veered out leaving the gate, raced in the middle of the pack between horses around the first turn and up the backstretch, navigated the second bend from the three path and improved position in the lane. FUTURE FORTUNE saved ground at the back of the pack through the opening half mile, continued to save ground around the far bend and improved position in the stretch. JERSEY FACTOR saved ground around the first turn, chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the three path and was outkicked in the lane. STATELY APRIL bobbled leaving the gate, raced in the three path around the first turn, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn and made no bid. REGAL MISS raced in the four path early, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the outside, navigated the far turn still in the four path and weakened in the stretch. LADY LYLA hopped up and was pinched back leaving the gate, raced in the two path around the first turn, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, swung out to the five path coming around the second turn and faded in the lane. WORTH THE SUM raced in the three path around the first turn, tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, came around the far turn still in the three path and tired in the stretch. THE RIDER OF HORSE EIGHT, THREE RUN BOLT, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE NINE, LET'S CONNECT, CITING INTERFERENCE IN UPPER STRETCH. UPON REVIEW, HORSE NINE, LET'S CONNECT, WAS DISQUALFIED AND PLACED THIRD FOR INTERFERENCE.
