Chart notes
CORNISHMAN stalked outside of the leader and from the three path, bid into the far turn, gained command with five sixteenths to go, drew clear in upper stretch, dug in to meet an outer challenge in the final sixteenth and held confidently while put to hand in the shadow of the wire. GUN PARTY pursued from midpack along the inside, shifted out to the four path in upper stretch, rallied hanging on his left lead to close in on the clear leader in the final sixteenth, but was kept at bay late. ELEPHANTS EAR stalked along the inside, shifted to the three path to gain place and take aim on the clearing leader entering the lane, but only managed to chase thereafter and got outkicked for place passing the furlong grounds. CASCADE CRUISER broke inwardly, laid off of the pace just a bit off of the inside, then stayed on willingly. PATRIARCHAL showed the way along the inside, but was headed by the eventual winner turning for home and faded. FALCON QUEST lacked speed two wide, took the far turn in the six path and failed to factor. AIR IT OUT tracked in the three to four path, chased into the far turn and gave way. KISSTHEMOON lacked speed in the four to five path, inched closer around the far turn, but tired hanging on his left lead through the lane. ON MY HONOR trailed in the two path and got outrun.
