Chart notes
HACKER set a pressured early pace along the inside, dug in late two deep just to outside of American Smooth and prevailed under all out pressure. AMERICAN SMOOTH stalked the pace, made a good rail bid in the drive and just missed in a game effort. CAPTAIN SCOTTY pressed the early leader two deep from the outside and kept on willingly to the wire. RICKEY B dropped back to race mid pack, moved up five to six wide into the upper stretch and improved position. BROADWAY PETE was allowed to settle early, saved ground and had no late rally. CHAMPION BY DESIGN coaxed along early, raced three to four wide and weakened. PUNCH EM stalked the pace three deep and gave way. FAR FROM FINAL settled early and failed to respond.
